Make membership development a function of your entire Chapter Board. Using the following campaigns will ensure that each board member is armed and ready to recruit new members.
We want you to kick off your RMA New Member Campaign…a focused Get-A-Member Campaign that will help you recruit and involve new members in your local RMA Chapter!

From July 1 until December 31 each year, RMA will rebate local chapters $20 for each NEW RMA Associate and $40 for each NEW Professional recruited.
To qualify for the rebate, you must use the membership forms below, on which you can highlight your chapter name.
Here are the guidelines for the RMA New Member Draft: (See applications below.)

RMA will sponsor a Get-A-New-Member recruitment campaign from July 1 through December 31.

RMA will rebate $20 for each new Associate and $40 for each new Professional Member they recruit during the campaign (no limits!).

Chapter-recruited Individuals MUST be submitted on the special attached application to receive credit.

Chapters will set goals and recruit new RMA Associates from member banks. RMA will help in any way we can!
Here's how to kick off your RMA New Member Campaign:

Make certain you have a membership chair for your chapter.

Get everyone involved in your campaign. Plan your campaign for July 1 - December 31.

Set a goal! How many new Associates and Professionals can your Chapter recruit? Board members should have specific goals.
Here are some recruiting tips and techniques to make your RMA New Member Draft a winner:

Make sure all your board members participate. Ask each to commit to a piece of the goal. Then give them the tools they need to be a recruiter, including the special applications.

Use Chapter general membership meetings and educational events as scouting opportunities. Include local chapter-recruited Associate applications at each seat.

Talk up the value of being part of RMA at your meetings.

Welcome new members at your events. Then invite others to become Associates. Your newsletter is another good place to recognize new members.

Coach a current member of your own Bank into seeing the benefits of RMA membership.

Make every opportunity a recruiting opportunity!

Recognize that many of our new Associates will be picking up their own tab. Promote RMA membership as a career developing and enhancing experience—an investment in their knowledge, network, and career.
RMA Institutional Trial Membership Campaign:

The Institution Trial Campaign is a tool that your local chapter can use to get more Institutions involved. This does not apply to professional service firms and cannot be used in conjunction with other RMA promotions. This Membership offer covers up to $2000 in dues and two free Associates (Senior and Alternate). Additional Associates are $55 each. This campaign runs from July 1 until February 28 each year.
Chapters that participate in this campaign will receive $100 cash rebates for each completed application, and RMA will give the chapter an additional $100 cash rebate for each trial member who is retained the following year.
Special Note: To qualify for the rebates for any of the new membership campaigns, you must use the attached special applications, on which you can highlight your chapter name.
