Making Your Newsletter Work
- Start out simple.
- List officers and board members.
- List upcoming events—meetings and educational events.
- Include a report of the last event.
- Advertise for new volunteers.
- Have a Member Relations Consultant write an article, if appropriate.
- Use RMA template for information or as a guide.
- Welcome new members.
- Include an article from the president of the chapter.
- Include benefits of being an active volunteer—local testimonials.
- Include articles that were submitted to the Paper Writing Competition.
- Recognize an officer or board member who did something special.
