STAR (Strategies to Achieve Results)

STAR is RMA's new chapter management system. It replaces the Standard of Excellence program.

• Use the form as a guide to plan your year.
• Assign ownership for key areas of the form to board members/committee chairs.
• Hold board members/committee chairs accountable; set dates for accomplishment.
• Periodically review progress toward the plan.
• Be sure to accomplish the minimum required level of basic activities.
• Try bonus activities; try innovative things.
• Celebrate accomplishments.
• Send your STAR with your Plan column completed, and with your planning report, to HQ by September 30th.
• Send the final form to HQ by July 31.
• Plan to send someone to the Annual Conference to receive your award!
