Can your institution weather the storm?

The RMA-Wharton Advanced Risk Management Program can prepare high-potential executives for the challenges of an uncertain economic future.

In light of today's financial uncertainty, institutions that promote sound risk management principles will be better equipped to handle the challenges of a recessionary environment and the inevitable changes that the future will bring. Investing in your high-potential executives and providing them with advanced leadership skills is essential in creating an enterprise-wide culture of risk management.

To help you ensure that leadership now and into the future, RMA and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School have joined forces to create the first executive education program to offer a comprehensive treatment of risk management. This integrated look at risk is designed for executives who are on a path to either management of the risk function or responsibility for risk management at the division or enterprise level.

The RMA-Wharton Advanced Risk Management Program has been designed by senior members of Wharton's prestigious faculty, the Wharton Financial Institutions Center, and experienced risk practitioners chosen by RMA. The program features two eight-day sessions of classroom time bridged by reading and participation in a virtual classroom. The schedule allows for comprehensive coverage while minimizing time away from work and home.

The program is highly interactive and addresses real-world challenges, reflective of today's economic issues, enabling participants to return to the office with tangible actions and results

The first session will take place from December 6 to December 13, 2009, and the second from February 14 to February 21, 2010. Class size will be limited to ensure a quality learning experience. Both sessions will be presented at the Aresty Institute for Executive Education, the University of Pennsylvania's state-of-the-art executive education facility in Philadelphia.

The need for sound risk management has never been more essential than in today's financial climate. Ensure that your executives possess the leadership necessary to effectively manage your institution's potential for risk. Please visit our The Wharton website to learn more about the program and to register today.
