RMA to Hold Annual Retail Risk Management Conference

RMA will hold its seventh Annual Retail Risk Management Conference in Chicago, June 3-4, 2003, at the W Chicago Hotel.

Philadelphia, Pa (May 6, 2003)RMA will hold its seventh Annual Retail Risk Management Conference in Chicago, June 3-4, 2003, at the W Chicago Hotel. Controlling risk in a challenging environment is the focus of the conference.

Addressing the challenging economic environment will be Diane Swonk, Bank One's chief economist. The regulatory perspective will be discussed by Julie L. Williams, first senior deputy comptroller and chief counsel, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Also speaking are Helen Eggers, consumer risk management executive, Bank of America, and Chaomei Chen, vice chair for credit and collections, Providian Financial Corp., who will address the performance of credit card portfolios. The conference also focuses on the latest and most predictive forecasting tools as well as strategies for data collection and for fighting fraud.
