Liquidity Risk and Asset/Liability Management
Liquidity Risk and Asset/Liability Management is an intermediate/advanced course designed to provide the skills necessary to further your understanding of the impact of changing market conditions on the soundness of the balance sheet and profitability of the income statement. The programme explores issues in liquidity management, interest rate risk management, and loan and deposit management, and provides practical and relevant examples based on the present interest rate environment and current market conditions.
Who will benefit?
Liquidity Risk and Asset/Liability Management would be valuable to anyone having Asset/Liability Management Committee (ALCO) responsibilities. Many members of The RMA are loan officers who sit on ALCO - this seminar would allow those individuals to broaden their skills and gain a deeper understanding of overall balance sheet management. The course is appropriate for middle and senior managers at smaller banks and for middle managers involved in ALCO reporting and monitoring at large banks. Board members who sit on an ALCO would also benefit from this programme.
