My journey with RMA began in 2005. I have been in banking 13 years and in a couple of years into my career I had the privilege of organizing the independent valuation function for my bank.
RMA provides semi-annual forums for me to be able to discuss industry best practices and network with peers from across the country. Those relationships have proven to be most valuable in the last few months as my bank prepares to double in size. I have been able to reach out to peer banks
that I have met along the way and survey industry best practices and structure for this specialized area. Without RMA, I would not have this national peer bank support system and I would not have been able to gather this first hand data to provide to bank management. RMA has also provided me with amazing
leadership opportunities. Over the past 11 years, I have been able to lead my local and regional chapters and am now privileged to serve on the Chapter Membership Council.
