Topic:

Innovation changes the way financial services customers access, borrow, and transfer money.  Innovations such as mobile banking and payment apps are attracting the attention of bank customers, investors, service providers, and regulators.  These new technologies, and the entities that utilize them, have exposed regulatory gaps, ambiguities, and duplication that may hinder efficient development as well as fair and equitable deployment within the financial services industry.  How are financial regulators addressing this issue, and what more should be done to ensure safety and soundness, fair treatment for consumers, and a level playing field for all participants?

Joining this call to discuss these currently pressing issues will be Kevin Petrasic, banking partner and head of Global Financial Institutions Advisory Practice in the Washington, DC office of White & Case LLP.  A Q&A session will follow Kevin’s prepared remarks.

Time:
This audioconference will be held at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Pacific Time).
