Getting into the Weeds: Risks and Compliance Considerations in Providing Financial Services to Marijuana, Hemp & CBD Businesses

This program will: 

·        Survey the current legal landscape for marijuana, including a summary of recent legislative developments in the U.S.; 

·        Discuss risks financial institutions face when dealing with businesses that produce or sell marijuana, hemp or CBD as well as compliance considerations for managing these risks; and

·        Outline various prudential approaches banks and other types of financial institutions should consider when servicing this burgeoning industry.

Cancellation Policy:
Full refunds will be available on all cancellations received by mail or faxed to the registrar up to 15 working days prior to the event. Reservations canceled 6–-14 working days prior to the event are subject to a service fee equal to 50% of the registration fee. Registrants who cancel 5 or fewer working days or less before the event will forfeit the entire fee. Registrants failing to attend the event—no shows—will not be eligible for refunds.forfeit the entire fee.
