Product Sales Manager

The Product Sales Manager will focus on growing the RMA client base and RMA product sales in established markets and cross-selling to existing customers while also working to deepen existing relationships to retain clients year over year.

Job Accountabilities

  1. Seeks out and develops deep relationships with key personas in existing markets through various communication and contact methods (email, calls, social media, etc.).
  1. As the resident expert in product information understands and conveys to key stakeholders the product’s unique value proposition, breadth of offerings and brand identify.
  1. Ensures a successful outcome of product launch plans and achievement of sales objectives through execution of brand/product strategies and tactics, coordinating with Relationship Managers and other internal departments to accomplish goals.
  1. Develops a thorough understanding of the client’s journey, product knowledge and expertise, to enhance the overall experience and ensure retention of core products.
  1. Identifies potential product leads through networking, cold calling, and other strategies. Follows up on leads generated from other resources.  Creates a methodology for lead follow-up and tracking to ensure proper development, nurturing, and reporting of potential opportunities. 
  1. Creates and implements an effective business plan to guide strategy, tactics, and track sales.

  2. Monitors and assesses competitive sales activity in the marketplace. Shares relevant information, makes recommendations for enhancements or additions to product offerings.  
  1. Other duties as assigned.

Managing Multiple Priorities (20%) – Manages multiple commitments.  Responds to changing demands and priorities.  Allocates and utilizes time efficiently.  Identifies potential conflicts that impact commitments.  Completes work according to identified priorities.

Organizational Savvy (10%) – Displays understanding of organizational culture and practices.  Incorporates organizational awareness into decision making.  Utilizes both formal and informal channels to achieve results.  Navigates organizational politics effectively.  Builds alliances across the organization.

Job Qualifications                          

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field with 3-5 years of hands-on selling experience required.

  2. Strong communication skills with proven ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization including C-Suite level professionals.

  3. Prior experience with proven success in B2B sales specifically in the Banking & Financial services or FinTech space.

  4. Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills as well as interpersonal skills.
