Agencies to Hold Interagency Webinar to Address COVID-19 Questions

The federal banking agencies and state regulators have announced that they will host an interagency webinar on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM ET to address questions and concerns related to the March 22, 2020 interagency statement. The March 22 statement encourages institutions to work constructively with borrowers affected by COVID-19 and provides additional information regarding loan modifications, including TDR designation.

While the agency announcement is directed toward the March 22 statement, regulators are inviting questions on all COVID-19-related operational issues.

The agencies strongly encourage webinar participants to submit questions in advance via email at rapid@stls.frb.org. The agencies state that the webinar materials will be archived for future viewing.
