What is the cancellation policy?

Please see below cancellation policy for this event.

  • Full refunds will be available on all cancellations e-mailed (registrar@rmahq.org) to the registrar by August 13, 2021 minus a $150.00 processing fee.
  • Credit toward future event: If you cancel from August 14 to September 16, 2021, 50% of the registration fee may be used as a credit toward the 2022 event or another RMA program within one year; no processing fee would apply.
  • No refunds will be issued after September 17, 2021.
  • Registrants failing to attend the event will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If the event is canceled by RMA, registrants will receive a full refund for registration fees. However, RMA does not assume responsibility for any other expenses, including the purchase of airline tickets, incurred by the registrant in connection with attending the event.
  • Hotel reservations will need to be cancelled directly through the Hotel unless otherwise communicated.
  • All applicable refunds will be issued following the close of the event. NOTE: A refund will be returned in the original purchase format. If paying with a credit card, a refund will take an additional 10 business days to post to your account.

COVID-19 accommodations: RMA will provide a full refund for any cancellations due to company restrictions (proof required), illness (proof required) or state, local and federal government regulations regarding COVID-19. If RMA cancels the event, full refunds will be granted. 

What is the vaccination policy?

Attendees at the Securities Finance & Collateral Management Conference are required to have completed their COVID-19 vaccination. Attendees must attest during the registration process to being vaccinated.. Vaccination is required to help limit the possibility of attendees transmitting the virus to each other or to unvaccinated children or others at home or in the community. Vaccines approved by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the Canadian government, or other government jurisdictions are all accepted.

Will I have to sign any type of waiver when I register?

What is RMA doing to create a safe environment for the conference?

Our team is keeping a close eye on all CDC Guidelines and changes in COVID-19 infection rates. Please be prepared for safety precautions at the venue in October, such as timed entry, mask-wearing, social distancing, and/or hand sanitizer stations, so that we can make this a safe, enjoyable conference. We will encourage masks at the conference but will announce our official policy closer to the event.

How do I register if I do not have access to a credit card?

I have registered, how to I modify my registration?

To modify a registration, please contact the Registrar at registrar@rmahq.org stating the specifics of the modification.

What is included with my registration fee?

You will have access to sponsors and exhibitors, meals (breakfast, breaks, receptions) and access to all conference sessions.

How do I obtain a receipt for my registration fee?

You will receive a confirmation letter once your registration is paid in full. This confirmation also serves as your receipt.

What if I am contacted by a third party for hotel reservations?

RMA will not reach out to solicit hotel rooms or to register you for the RMA Annual Securities Finance & Collateral Management Conference. Should you be contacted by any organization or website that claims to offer lower rates we urge you to use extreme caution and contact Rosemarie Casler at rcasler@rmahq.org with any relevant information.

What is the dress attire?

Business casual is appropriate for the event. Since meeting rooms are often cold, you may wish to bring a jacket or sweater. Dress comfortably for the Monday Welcome Reception. Casual dress is recommended for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday receptions.

How will I receive my registration badge and materials?

Event materials will be distributed at the event registration area at the venue.

Attendees and guest MUST wear name badges to all conference sessions and events to gain admittance. Replacement badges will not be issued. No exceptions will be made. We appreciate your cooperation.

What are the registration desk hours onsite?

How do I download presentations for the event?

Presentations will be available via the conference mobile app.

What will the weather be like in Florida?

In October, Aventura has an average high temperature of 79°F and an average low temperature of 64°F.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, the cost to register a guest of a registered attendee is $275.

Please note: a guest is a spouse, significant other, or friend of a registered conference attendee and does not work in the industry or an industry-related position.

How do I book a private meeting?

RMA appreciates your cooperation in refraining from scheduling other events, such as golf outings or special tours, during the conference business program. If you need assistance in planning an event, please contact Sinaca Lingard, Director of Events at slingard@turnberryislemiami.com or (786) 279-6924.

A Private Event is an invitation-only outing, dinner party, or reception hosted by an organization or group other than RMA. Private events are not considered part of the conference program agenda and, as such, should not be held during or interfere with the conference program or sponsored events. Please refrain from holding events on Monday evening before 10:00 P.M. If your organization is planning an event for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening, please plan to start the event for 7:30 P.M. or later. We ask that you please support the sponsors of all the conference events by recognizing their financial commitment to the particular event (food/beverage cost) and the conference.
