JOB SUMMARY
The Risk Management Association was founded to
promote sound risk management principles within the financial services

To maintain our leadership status and
transform into a next-gen association that delivers exceptional member
experiences, we need a Corporate Paralegal/HR Support to
provide administrative support to Legal and Human Resources. In this role you
will work directly with our Legal Department in preparing, reviewing,
organizing and overseeing a broad range of legal documents. In addition, you
will provide support to HR in the areas of employee benefit management,
candidate scheduling & coordination as well as other HR administrative
tasks as needed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Legal Department
- Tracking, processing, and renewing foreign
state qualifications and state school licensing applications and requirements
- Support corporate and commercial transactions
and providing support to internal counsel
- Assist with review of standard form contracts
and documents for internal counsel review
- Manage trademark portfolio
- Process and document “work for hire” contracts
as requested by The RMA Journal staff, and administer copyright
- Management of contracts and other documents
- Conduct legal research as requested by
internal counsel
- Assist with event preparation, logistics,
reports, and accounting
- Handle various administrative tasks and ad-hoc
projects
Human Resources Department
- Manages health & welfare benefit
enrollment through various vendor portals to ensure timely enrollments and
changes. Reconciles monthly billing to ensure accurate account of all
additions, deletions, etc. and resolves any discrepancies with vendors.
Prepares billing for payment approval
- Works with Managers to coordinate interview
schedules of candidates and communicates schedule to candidate and all parties
involved providing appropriate documents and information
- Responsible for scheduling onboarding
components for new hires and communicating schedule to all parties involved
- Provides additional HR administrative support
as needed.
