SVP, Credit Risk Administration Manager
Brad Cunningham is a Senior Vice President in Credit Risk Administration at Commerce Bank, a $30 billion institution headquartered in Missouri. He has spent the past 20 years working in various roles within the banking industry at both Community and Mid-Size banks, in addition to being a former regulatory examiner.
In his current role, Brad oversees the Credit Risk Administration function at Commerce Bank, which includes managing the Bank’s Credit Policy, Concentration Monitoring, Risk Rating Methodology, and overall monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on credit risk within the Bank’s loan portfolio.
Prior to his time at Commerce Bank, Brad was an integral part of building out all aspects of the Credit function at de novo Scottrade Bank, a $16 billion banking subsidiary of Scottrade Financial Services, which was acquired by TD Ameritrade and TD Bank in 2017. He also has prior experience as a regulatory examiner for the FDIC, has held lending roles in both Consumer and Commercial lending, and has performed Credit Underwriting and Loan Review work.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He volunteers his time through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and is the Board Treasurer of the St. Louis Chapter of the RMA.
