Brooks Brady

Brooks Brady heads the Credit Risk Analytics group at Zions Bancorporation. In this role, Brooks leads a team of quantitative analysts, report writers, and credit administrators who build credit loss models, manage the quarterly allowance process, support risk management frameworks, assist with credit policy creation, identify emerging risks across Zions’s wholesale and retail credit portfolios, and spearhead the use of “alternative data” in credit risk analysis.

Brooks joined Zions Bancorp in 2007. At Zions, he has managed the allowance through the Great Recession, directed the implementation of the CECL accounting standard, and transitioned credit risk analytics to a dual risk grading approach. Brooks has over 20 years of credit risk management experience, having also worked at Standard & Poor’s, American Express, and KPMG. Brooks holds a master’s degree in Finance from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Utah.
