At 10:00 a.m. the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs will meet in Executive Session to consider the following nominations: Richard Clarida, to be a member and vice chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; and Michelle Bowman, to be a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

June 13, 2018

At 10:00 a.m. the House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing entitled “Financial Industry Regulation: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.”  The sole witness will be Joseph Otting, comptroller of the currency.

At 2:00 p.m. the House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing entitled “Ensuring Effectiveness, Fairness, and Transparency in Securities Law Enforcement.”  Witnesses will include Bradley Bondi, partner, Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP; Joseph Borg, director, Alabama Securities Commission; Thomas Quaadman, VP, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and Andrew Vollmer, professor, University of Virginia School of Law.
