Fair Lending Risks in Fintech/Third Party Services

Many banks are partnering with third party service providers to utilize the lending technologies and platforms offered by these firms as a means to better serve existing customers and to reach new customers.  While these service providers offer many benefits to banks and bank customers, these services present fair lending risks to the banks that use them.  Joining us to discuss these risks and the risk management practices to address them will be Kenneth Benton, Senior Consumer Regulations Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.  A Q & A session will follow Ken’s prepared remarks.
