Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) is a process by which management and staff of all levels collectively identify and evaluate risks and associated controls. There isn’t a person in your organization that has not heard of RCSA, since each RCSA entity must identify the operational risks arising from its products and activities. Many financial institutions today consider RCSA to be purely a compliance exercise and do not see benefits that can be derived by successfully implementing an effective RCSA process.
