Seema Sheth, Senior Vice President & Regional Executive of the Louisville Branch of the St. Louis Federal Reserve will present an economic outlook from both federal and community perspectives.  Following the brief presentation, Seema will engage participants in a roundtable discussion about the economy, labor, banking conditions, and the business climate, in order to tap local knowledge and expertise while providing an open format for attendees to ask questions. Attendee input helps keep the Fed informed about important economic issues the banking industry faces in the Fed's Eighth District. As one of 12 regional Reserve banks, the St. Louis Fed reflects the voice of Main Street in monetary policy deliberations in Washington, D.C. Economic models and data are critical, but don't tell the whole story. The firsthand perspective of participants at this event helps fill the gaps.
