18th Annual PASLA | RMA Conference on Asian Securities Lending

The 18th Annual PASLA|RMA Conference on Asian Securities Lending is an in-person event that brings together industry participants involved in securities lending in the Asia/Pacific region. It is designed by securities lending and borrowing professionals for individuals from banks, brokerage houses, pension funds, endowments, and regulatory agencies on a global basis doing business in the APAC region.

Both PASLA and RMA continue their thought leadership regarding sound securities lending and borrowing practices and part of that mission is carried out through this event. View this year's attendees.

Q: What if I am contacted by a third party for hotel reservations?

 

RMA will not reach out to solicit hotel rooms or to register you for this conference.  Should you be contacted by any organization or website that claims to offer lower rates we urge you to use extreme caution and contact rmaevents@rmahq.org with any relevant information.

 

Q: What is the dress attire?

Business casual is appropriate for the event.  Since meeting rooms are often cold, you may wish to bring a jacket or sweater.

 

Q: How do I obtain a receipt for my registration fee? 

You will receive a confirmation letter once your registration is paid in full. This confirmation also serves as your receipt.

 

Q: How will I receive my registration badge and materials? 

Event materials will be distributed at the event registration area at the venue. Attendees MUST wear name badges to all conference sessions and events to gain admittance. Replacement badges will not be issued. No exceptions will be made. We appreciate your cooperation.

  • Important Reservation Information

    Only those individuals registered for the conference are eligible to stay at The Conrad Centennial Singapore Hotel at the conference group rate during the conference dates. The conference registration list will be cross-checked with the rooming list provided by the hotel. Anyone (company or individual) holding a hotel reservation must have a matching conference registration with RMA. If not registered, RMA reserves the right to request that you cancel your hotel reservation or have the hotel charge the hotel rack rate for the reservation. RMA or PASLA will not be responsible for any charges you may incur, nor will RMA or PASLA assume responsibility for making room reservations, changes, or cancellations.

 

Cancellation Policy Details

The cancellation policy details for this event include:

  • Full refunds will be available on all cancellations emailed (registrar@rmahq.org) to the registrar by 2 February 2024 minus a $150.00 processing.
  • If you cancel from 3 February - 23 February 2023, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • No refunds will be issued after 23 February 2024.
  • Registrants failing to attend the event will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Substitutions allowed up to 5:00pm EST 29 February 2024.
  • If the event is canceled by RMA, registrants will receive a full refund for registration fees. However, RMA does not assume responsibility for any other expenses, including the purchase of airline tickets, incurred by the registrant in connection with attending the event.
  • Hotel reservations will need to be cancelled directly through the Hotel unless otherwise communicated.
  • All applicable refunds will be issued following the close of the event. NOTE: A refund will be returned in the original purchase format. If paying with a credit card, a refund will take an additional 10 business days to post to your account. 
  • COVID-19 accommodations: RMA will provide a full refund for any cancellations due to company restrictions (proof required), illness (proof required) or state, local and federal government regulations regarding COVID-19. Q: When should I NOT attend an RMA Event, if suspected of COVID-19?

You should not attend an RMA Event if:

  1. You have tested positive for or been diagnosed with COVID-19 unless medically cleared by your health care provider; or
  2. Within the 10-day period prior to the Conference you have experienced symptoms associated with COVID-19; or
  3. You may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by your health care provider.

 

Q: What is RMA doing to create a safe environment for the conference?

The RMA team is keeping a close eye on all CDC Guidelines and changes in COVID-19 infection rates. Please be prepared for safety precautions at the venue, such as timed entry, mask-wearing, social distancing, and/or hand sanitizer stations, so that we can make this a safe, enjoyable conference. We will encourage masks at the conference but will announce our official policy closer to the event.
